About ScamWiz
Updated November 6, 2026
ScamWiz helps people and personal agents inspect public merchant disclosures before deciding what to do next. The current beta is an automated website research tool.
Who operates it?
Operator identity and professional background have not yet been published. You can question findings or ask about the service through the contact page.
What is available now?
Deterministic public-page checks, cited findings, experimental evidence-based scores, and structured JSON. No model or external reputation service is called by the merchant scanner. This is not identity certification, a validated trust rating, or a checkout test.
What influences a finding?
The scanner applies the same published checks to retrieved HTML. Merchant payments, sponsorships, and affiliate commissions are not inputs to its rules. A recorded example is selected to demonstrate the research process and is not an endorsement or commercial recommendation.
Accountability
Read the methodology, inspect the original sources, and question or correct a finding. Findings are automated; they are not represented as human-reviewed.
