SCAMWIZ / PUBLIC BETA

Terms of use

Updated November 6, 2026

Service scope

ScamWiz is a public beta offering public-website disclosure research and a separate automated message checker. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable. Recorded reports describe observations at their stated time. They are not certifications, endorsements, identity verification, or guarantees of transaction safety.

People and personal agents

People and agents may use the documented /api/merchant endpoint for read-only research subject to availability and rate limits. Respect target websites and applicable access restrictions. Do not bypass protections, attempt private-network access, overload the service, or use it to submit unlawfully obtained content.

Owner decisions

The owner remains responsible for deciding whether to share information, create accounts, or purchase. This service does not execute checkout or financial transactions and does not replace independent verification or professional advice.

Submitted material

Submit only material you are entitled to share. You retain ownership and permit processing to provide the requested result. Review the data-handling explanation, especially external model processing. Do not submit payment details, credentials, or sensitive personal records.

Research and citations

You may cite an observed finding with its source URL, scan timestamp, method version, and limitations. Do not present disclosure counts as a trust score, omit material uncertainty, or imply an endorsement by ScamWiz.

Availability and changes

The beta is provided as available without a promise of accuracy, uptime, response time, or fitness for a particular decision. Features and limits may change. Material method changes should carry a new version. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Contact and corrections
